About Us

MISSION STATEMENT

Connect Emerging Artists, Local Businesses and the Public to Challenge the Perception of Art and Foster Community.

WHAT WE DO

We present an annual 10-day long Festival in the BoCoCa (Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens) area of Brooklyn and support and showcase the highest works of music, theater, visual and performing art. We strive to “cast” emerging artists of multiple disciplines in unconventional neighborhood venues, such as bars, restaurants, vacant storefronts and galleries, supporting artistic expression and showcasing these beautiful neighborhoods and eclectic businesses.

HOW

We forge lasting relationships of collaboration to challenge an individual’s traditional approach to art and its (inherent and necessary) connection to local business and the greater community.

WHERE

We present the Festival throughout four almost-hidden neighborhoods in Brooklyn -- Boerum Hill Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens and Gowanus. These unique communities marry 19th century brownstones with industrial warehouses, main business thoroughfares with tranquil neighborhood parks. Mixing business professionals, artists, kids and kids at heart, across generations and varied demographics, with vibrant, family-owned fish markets, trendy boutiques and world-class restaurants, these diverse and beautiful neighborhoods are truly inspiring.
